Sunshine Village will design its very own app which can run on any mobile device such as a phone, tablet, or watch.
As tabled below, our app can provide a range of informative updates to our residents. Furthermore, our app can also identify the location of the users in real time to provide safety updates and geography specific content.
Modern technology will be a convenient feature of living in a Sunshine Village. High speed internet, cable television with international news channels and an ability to make food and beverage purchases with a room key are measures designed to make retirement life easier.
A security alarm built into every village home is a big attraction for village residents planning a move. It provides great peace of mind that if one presses the emergency call button, within minutes someone who is trained to help will come through that door. Receiving prompt help when you have a fall or need assistance for whatever reason provides an incredible sense of security, especially for those on their own.
There is an emergency wall mounted button in the major rooms like the bathroom, kitchen and living area. Once pressed, operators have your personal information including major health considerations, contact numbers for relatives and friends, as well as your home details. Depending on your situation, they may also contact your family or friends as well.
Sunshine Village will have an attended Front Desk & Support Centre 24 hours a day, 365 days per year to cater for the various needs of our residents. Responsibilities will include a variety of administrative duties, greeting of visitors, answering of phones and relaying of messages. Another frequent task will be solving tech support issues in relation to high speed internet access and cable television. In the case of a medical emergency, it is the Front Desk that will be the first contact.
